Pentair's current salt-cell FAQ says that when flow remains inadequate, owners should verify the pump is running at sufficient speed and check for basket debris, a clogged impeller, low pool water, suction air, valve position, a dirty filter, obstruction in the salt cell, or a faulty flow switch.
